The Turning

Shannaaya Chopra’s debut fantasy novel, The Turning, follows Kiara Sharma as she discovers her identity as a rare and feared werewolf known as a "Katrol." While the reviewer praises the book's emotional sincerity and gripping pacing, they note that more immersive world-building would have enhanced the setting. Ultimately, the novel is described as a promising young adult read centered on themes of identity and self-acceptance.
