A wealthy merchant and a passing rich man learn that material wealth and health are transient after observing Naranath's lessons on rolling stones and counting ants. While sleeping in a cremation ground, Naranath calmly converses with Goddess Kali, choosing to shift his own illness rather than ask for worldly boons. Although society calls him mad, he is ultimately recognized as the "King of madmen" who transcends earthly assumptions.
