Pakistan or the Partition of India by Dr. B.R.Ambedkar

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s book Pakistan, or the Partition of India provides a meticulous, data-driven analysis of the feasibility of a separate Pakistan by examining demographics, historical documents, and communal tensions. The work critiques the political strategies of leaders like Gandhi and Jinnah to offer a logical, non-emotional perspective on the socio-political conditions leading to Partition. Ultimately, it serves as a rational exploration of the era, emphasizing that such monumental decisions should be determined by the will of the general public rather than solely by political elites.
