VAZHGA VAZHGA AND OTHER STORIES BY IMAYAM (TRANSLATED FROM THE TAMIL BY PRABHA SRIDEVAN)

The reviewer gives Vazhga Vazhga and Other Stories a disappointing two-star rating, criticizing its uneven storytelling and "lazy" translation. While the first story regarding Tamil Nadu politics was considered reasonably good, the reviewer found the subsequent tales on religious conflict and caste dynamics to be confusing, poorly executed, or lacking focus. Ultimately, the book is not recommended to general readers unless they are die-hard fans of the author.
